Trekking to Ausangate 7D/6N
It is a journey of adventure through the spectacular landscape of the Andes, we marveled at the beauty of the area. We will have the opportunity to learn the traditional native Quechua lived at 14,000 feet and serving their herds of llamas and alpacas in the isolated region of the Cordillera Vilcanota, including glaciers, colorful lakes. Day 01: Cusco – Ocongate – Tinki
The journey begins in Cusco, Cusco south leading to Puno, we went through last bit of the Wari culture called Pikillacta and colonial villages and Huaro Andahuaylillas known as the town of mysticism. In Urcos road take a road uphill until we reached the foot of the mountain. In the afternoon the Vilcanota mountain range appears in the distance, snow-capped Nevado Ausangate and Jampa (5450 m) Clearly visible, continue the path to the village of Tinki near Ocongate.
Day 02: Tinki – Upis
After our breakfast, we will be moving away from the village of Tinki starting the walk by the river and began to cross Ocongate puna (Mountain Meadows), until we reached the foot of Mountain Ausangate from here we have a breathtaking view of the beautiful peaks mountain which makes the trip is made more remarkable.We continue towards the town of Upis to enjoy the hot springs is a great place to relax after the rigors of the day.
Day 03: Upis – Pucacocha
Very early after our breakfast we continue the journey brisk ascending towards the town of Pacchanta, on the way we will see magnificent scenery and various Andean birds, this area is known as the natural reserve of up to 4,500 m climb Huallatas high, continuing along the lake where we can see Pucacocha snow of Ausangate looming ever closer.
Day 04: Pucacocha – Palomani
After our lunch We begin our adventure by some small lakes of turquoise make the ascent to the pass at (4,800 m) where it is absolutely amazing view of Mount Ausangate the Cordillera de Vilcanota.Entonces Chilcapinaya descending to camp. And have a nutritious dinner.
Day 05: Plomani – Jampa – Pachaspata
After our breakfast we prepare to continue the path on the Jampa valley we see the shepherds of the mountain graze their sheep and alpacas, spinning and weaving their wool alpaca and sheep. We reach a step Ticllacocha (4,650 m) to Pachaspata, place of our camp if the weather permits we can reach the lake Q’omercocha.
Day 06: Pachaspata – Pacchanta

Day 07: Pacchanta – Tinki – Cusco
We left early our camp and we hike down the mountains Tinki gray stone, and observing different crops such as potatoes, quinoa, beans, beans, etc.. During our walk we will pass close to several villages and small communities of herders and weavers who speak their native language Quechua, the bus will be waiting in Tinki to take us back to Cusco and then to your hotel.
